Jana Monroe is interviewed. She is a retired FBI Special Agent and one of the first women to serve in the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit, the division known for developing modern criminal‑profiling methods. Over more than two decades with the Bureau, she worked on hundreds of violent‑crime and homicide investigations, assisting law‑enforcement agencies in analyzing offender behavior and identifying serial offenders.

1. Sheldon Solomon 

Sheldon Solomon is an American social psychologist and longtime faculty member at Skidmore College, where he serves as the Ross Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies. He is best known for co‑developing terror management theory with Jeff Greenberg and Tom Pyszczynski, a research program examining how human awareness of mortality influences thought, emotion, and behavior. Solomon has authored and co‑authored numerous publications, including The Worm at the Core and In the Wake of 9/11, and has contributed to more than a hundred peer‑reviewed articles. His work has also appeared in several documentaries, including the award‑winning Flight from Death, which explores themes related to existential psychology and cultural responses to mortality.
