About
This blog was created to present ideas I’ve developed over time about the Zodiac Killer case. My focus when I began to look at the case, was not working to identify a suspect or solving the case, but on the Zodiac's words—how he structured his messages, why he chose certain words/phrases/symbols, and what any patterns may reveal about his psychology, intent, and strategy.
I write about his signature behaviors, the tactical use of language and geography, and the tension between what he said and what he showed. My interest is predominately in the communication itself: the layers of manipulation, the emotional undercurrents, and the persona he crafted through fear, control, and misdirection.
I don’t have formal credentials in criminology, linguistics, psychology, or cryptography. I’m not in law enforcement. I am just someone who encountered the case years ago and became intrigued by one central question: How did someone write so often—and say so much—without ever being identified?
